Privacy Policy

1. Drawings and device storage

Brush strokes, shapes, colors, canvas backgrounds, and undo and redo history are processed on your device. The App does not send your drawings or drawing activity to a Pixigo server and does not provide cloud storage or online AI processing.

The current version keeps the editable canvas and drawing settings in memory during use; it does not automatically save an editable project between app sessions. Export artwork you want to keep before closing the App. When you save or share, the App creates a JPEG image in its temporary device cache.

2. Photo library permission

After a grown-up completes the parent check and chooses to save a drawing to Photos, the App asks iOS for permission to add images only. It uses that permission to save the image you created. The App does not request permission to read your photo library and does not browse, analyze, or upload your existing photos.

You can decline or change photo library access in your device's Settings. Drawing does not require this permission; saving directly to Photos requires the access requested by the App.

3. Saving and sharing

Sharing opens the device's system share sheet with your exported image. The destination you select, such as a messaging app or file service, receives the image according to your choice and its own privacy practices. Pixigo does not receive a copy through this process.

Images saved to Photos or Files may be backed up or synchronized by Apple or another provider depending on your settings. Please check your image for personal information before sharing it. A parent or guardian should help children choose appropriate recipients and destinations.

4. Accounts, advertising, and analytics

The current App has no user accounts, advertisements, in-app purchases, analytics SDKs, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. It does not request your name, email address, contacts, precise location, microphone, or camera, and does not use advertising identifiers or track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Apple separately operates the App Store and device services. Apple may process download, usage, or diagnostic information and make reports available to developers according to its policies and your device settings. See Apple's privacy information.

5. Support messages and website visits

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use these to answer your request and address support or privacy issues. Please send only the information needed for your request and avoid including sensitive information or children's personal details.

This policy page is hosted on GitHub Pages. Visiting it sends normal connection information, including your IP address, to the hosting provider. GitHub may log this information for security and service operation under its Privacy Statement. We have not added advertising, analytics scripts, or cookies to this page. Website hosting is separate from the App's offline drawing features.

6. Children's privacy

PixiGo Draw is designed for creative use by children and families. Children can draw without registering or providing personal information to us. The App does not upload their artwork, profile them, track them, or show advertisements.

A parent check appears before saving, sharing, or opening the grown-ups area for privacy and support. The check is processed locally; it does not ask for a date of birth, create a profile, or send an answer to us. Parents and guardians should supervise saving and sharing and contact us on a child's behalf for support. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email privacy@pixigo.ai so we can review and delete it as appropriate, subject to applicable legal obligations.

7. Purposes and legal bases

Local device processing enables the drawing, saving, and sharing actions you request. Where we process personal information under European data protection law, we rely on our legitimate interests in answering support requests and maintaining a secure website, and on legal obligations when handling privacy requests or lawful demands. Where consent is required for processing we carry out, we obtain it and you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

8. Retention and deletion

• Editable canvas: remains in the running App's memory, including undo and redo history, and is not restored after the App process ends.
• Temporary exports: the cached JPEG may remain until another export replaces it, the operating system clears the cache, or the App is deleted. Clearing the canvas does not delete this cached export.
• Saved or shared images: remain in Photos, Files, backups, or the destination you selected until removed there. Clearing the canvas or deleting the App does not remove these separate copies.
• Support correspondence: is retained only as long as reasonably needed to resolve your request and meet related legal obligations. You can request deletion by email.

Apple, GitHub, and any sharing destinations apply their own retention rules to information they process. We cannot retrieve or delete drawings stored only on your device or copies held by a recipient.

9. Providers, disclosures, and security

We use GitHub Pages for this website and Google Workspace to receive and manage email. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. Apple provides App Store and device services, and sharing destinations process images you send them. Providers may process information outside your country; applicable safeguards for international transfers are required where data protection law requires them.

We may disclose information we hold when required by law or a valid legal request. We limit the information requested for support and use the access controls of our service providers to protect correspondence. No device, email service, or online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

10. Your rights and privacy choices

You can control photo library permission in device Settings, choose whether and where to share, and delete exported images from their destinations. There is no PixiGo Draw account to delete.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal information we hold, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw consent where applicable. Contact us at privacy@pixigo.ai. We may need limited information to verify your request and locate relevant correspondence; we do not ask you to create an account for this purpose.

You may also complain to your local data protection authority. In Spain, this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if the App's features or data practices change and revise the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent before introducing a new use of personal information.
